After we visted the Clinton Library, my wife and I walked the trail where we saw this wonderful monument of Harriet Tubman by Jane Dedecker. I have admired Harriet Tubman all of my life, so I had to stop and take pictures of this liberator who led so many slaves to their freedom via the Underground Railroad.

A walk through Central Park allows you to relax in the natural surroundings of grass, trees, water, and large boulders, while glimpses of the skyline remind you that the city streets are just moments away. I sometimes use familiar buildings in the skyline to help me find my way out of the park.

I do not get to see an aerial sunrise or sunset very often because I am usually on the wrong side of the plane or do not have a window seat. This time I was in the right place at the right, so I was happy to be able to shoot this sunset. I love the colors and the texture of the clouds. It places my spirit in a peaceful place.
